"Every session feels like taking a step up the infinite ladder of opportunities for positive and effective leadership."
Carola Riegner., Hospital Manager
"She let me lead and did not try to steer me down a blind road. She subtly guided me to my own answers."
Judge London Steverson, USALJ (Ret.)
Carola Riegner
When was the last time you looked forward to going to work? For the last year, I have not been the leader that I wanted to be, and I dreaded the responsibility. I felt like I was battling my team every day and burnt out from addressing them over their lack of compliance to the simplest protocols. Just do what I ask! I knew I was micromanaging my team and truly felt they needed it. I came to terms with the fact that I was the common denominator in all the conflicts. After the very first session with Katie, it felt like my mind opened up to a whole new world of opportunities. This feeling went on for days and often the reflection would bring on many epiphanies. Throughout her program, I felt and saw myself changing for the better and knew I would never go back. I'll never be stuck in that headspace again because I'm enjoying the clearer view more. Experience is a necessary way to learn but it's also like having a raw talent and no training. Having Katie coach, me through my leadership mindset and goals, made me feel like I was refining my approach and listening to my team to hear them. As a warning, know that you will grow immensely from this experience if you're ready to self-reflect and it will be emotional. You will have to put the work in to use what you learn, in action on a daily basis. I wish I could receive coaching from Katie on a daily basis because every session feels like taking a step up the infinite ladder of opportunities for positive and effective leadership. The ladder goes both ways, you will inevitably make an error and fall a few rings. It'll be frustrating and disheartening because it now means even more to you than ever, but Katie will help you through those. Each time I fell, Katie was able to get me back on the ladder, quicker and quicker. Even in my errors, I can still see the progress I have made. Honestly, I am excited to go to work and see my team again. I am proud of the work I have done (and continue to do). Even better, the team is seeing the positive changes, and they are happier too. Katie's leadership coaching is invaluable, I will be a repeat client for life.

My coaching experience was quite unique. It was part religious Confessor, part Psychological Analyzer, part Sports Coach Encourager, part Bedside Maternal Sympathizer, and part Good Friend listening as I unloaded some excess baggage that I had been carrying around in my subconscious for years. My coach was all of those and more to me. And it was worth every penny. We entered this agreement without any strings attached. I had no grand illusion or expectations. We contracted for 12 sessions and ended up going 13. At the end, I was a better person. The experience was Therapeutic. I had no idea just talking to someone and confessing some deeply hidden secrets could be so liberating. At the end I felt freer. I felt unburdened and unshackled. My Coach was always punctual and professional. She let me lead and did not try to steer me down a blind road. She subtly guided me to my own answers. It was a positive experience. I recommend the process to anyone. And I give my Coach a Five Star recommendation if you do not have someone of your own.
